After graduating from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education, I started my career at the Sustainability Academy as a Fourth Grade classroom teacher. Over my 23 years at our school, I have taught children from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, and spent five of those years working as a Special Educator. I went on to continue my education and earned a Master's Degree with several endorsements from the University of Vermont: Reading Specialist, Consulting Teacher, Reading Coordinator and Special Educator.
Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my two sons, Michael and John, and my husband Steve. I have been married for 20 years. Michael is in tenth grade and John is in seventh grade. We love taking road trips and traveling to new places together. I love to swim, read, and cook with my kids.
